I don’t particularly like the desk for him. Didn’t realize when I bought it that the mouse wouldn’t fit on the keyboard shelf, so he has to lean over to use the mouse, which isn’t good for his posture. Soooo I’m looking for another one. grrrrrr…

Pegs, it well past time to clear out Congress. But people are going to have to actually vote to do that. I don’t mean just that racist O-blah-blah’s young Hispanics and blacks. I’m 56 in 31 more days and have NEVER missed an opportunity to vote.

In 2008, people voted for change, without ever investigating the kinds of changes O-bummer intended to bring us. However I do understand the word Obama in Swahili translates to ‘on-term President’.

Pegs, the sad part about all this is it is not just marine life being risked and destroyed. And yes, I am just as upset about what this catastrophe is doing and will do to marine life of all forms, trust me.

People questioned why it took the White house 9 days to officially recognize the Gulf disaster and why it took Obama so long to sit down with BP to discuss what is (not??) being done. I suspect Obama was fearful BP would ask for their money back.

What about all of the toxic chemicals being used as dispersing agents? As these chemical blow ashore off the water, who is breathing the tainted air and who is going to suffer respiratory ailments? As rain moves through the area, what chemicals is the rain depositing on crops growing in the region? What will be the short-term AND long-term effects of benzene and Corexit exposure to all forms of life? There is already evidence the high levels of methane gas have created dead zones, areas where oxygen depletion is complete and living creatures have died.

As you can imagine, I feel BP must be held accountable for their errors and blunders. But where their accountability ends is the important question. And I suspect George Soros and his lackey, the Manchurian President Obama are the only ones who can provide an answer.

I’m in Europe and we don’t get as much coverage of this as you guys are (obviously), but just from what you are describing – I am disgusted.
And in the end BP won’t even suffer that much from this. If there was justice in the world, the company would go bust for this.
It has to be the biggest company f*ck-up in the history of the world.
